Information we collect
Information you give us
- Your name, address, email address, and phone number when you request service, ask for a quote, or sign up through a form on our site.
- Details about your property and your pest problem that you share so we can quote and perform the work.
- Service history, appointment records, and notes from our technicians.
- Billing information. Payment card details are handled by our payment processor and are not stored on our website.
- Anything you tell us by phone, email, or text.
Information we collect automatically
- Your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, how you arrived at our site, and how long you stay.
- Cookies and similar technologies, described below.
Phone calls
We use a call tracking service so we can tell which of our advertising brings in calls. When you call a number listed on our website, we collect the number you dialed, your phone number, the date, time and length of the call, and the advertising source that led you to us. We may also record the call for quality, training, and record keeping. If you would rather not be recorded, tell the person who answers and we will note it or continue by email.
How we use your information
- To answer questions, provide quotes, and schedule and perform pest control services.
- To bill you and keep records of the work we have done.
- To send appointment reminders, service notifications, and follow ups by email, phone, or text.

Cookies and tracking
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies, including Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, to understand how visitors use the site. We also use advertising tools from Google and from Meta (Facebook and Instagram) that may set cookies in order to measure our ads and show them to relevant audiences.

Advertising and audiences
We advertise our services online. That information is sent in a hashed, unreadable form. We use it to reach people who may be interested in our services, to avoid showing ads to customers who already have service with us, and to measure whether our advertising is working.
These platforms are required by their agreements with us to use that information only for our advertising and not for their own purposes. We do not sell your personal information for money.
How we share information
- Service providers. Companies that help us run the business, including our scheduling and customer management software, our payment processor, our call tracking provider, our email and text messaging tools, and our website host. They may use your information only to provide those services to us.
- Advertising and analytics partners. As described above.
- Professional advisors. Our accountants, attorneys, and insurers when needed.
- Legal reasons. When required by law, a court order, or a government or licensing authority, or to protect our rights, our property, or the safety of others.
- Business transfer. If Pisgah Pest Control, Inc. is sold or merged, customer information may transfer as part of that transaction.
We do not share your information with anyone else without your permission.
Text messages
If you give us your mobile number, we may text you about appointments, scheduling, and your service. Message and data rates may apply. You can stop these messages at any time by replying STOP or by calling our office.
You can unsubscribe from our marketing email at any time using the link at the bottom of any message. We will still send messages about scheduled service and billing.
Your choices
You may ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@pisgahpestcontrol.com or call (828) 547-3501 and we will respond within a reasonable time. Some records we are required to keep for legal, licensing, tax, or pesticide application recordkeeping reasons, and we will tell you if that applies to your request.
How long we keep information
We keep customer records for as long as you are a customer and afterward for as long as we need them for legal, tax, warranty, and pesticide application recordkeeping purposes. Website analytics data is kept on the schedules set by the tools we use.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the information we hold and to dispose of it securely when we no longer need it, as North Carolina law requires. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee that information sent to us over the internet is completely safe.
Children
Our website and our services are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Other websites
Our site links to and embeds content from other services, including maps, review platforms, and form providers. Their own privacy policies govern what they collect.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date.
